Counteract the prickly heat |
Aka prickly heat sweat indeed often in infants. Usually this occurs due to blockage of sweat glands. Sweat comes out together under the skin causing a red rash. The problem, prickly heat can relapse repeatedly, especially when the air is very hot.
Actually, prickly heat can be prevented by avoiding the evaporation of perspiration barrier. Easy to do too! Here are some things you can do.
1. Bathe the baby regularly, morning and afternoon.
2. Keep your baby's skin remains dry and "cold". After the bath, body parts are doubled, like folds of the thighs, armpits, and neck dry with a towel until completely dry.
3. When sweat, baby do not directly given a powder. Wipe the baby's first with a damp cloth, then dried. When dry, apply a thin layer of powder only. If you are too "excited" powdering up too thick, it is feared the powder is actually clog the pores of the little guy.

When the prickly heat has become infected. This is marked with white spots. The doctor will give you an ointment to reduce the inflammation further.
If infection prickly heat until the pus, the doctor will give you an ointment that contains antibiotics.
