People who are born in summer proved to have higher blood pressure. This was revealed in the American Journal of Epidemiology. This was allegedly associated with the occurrence of dehydration in infancy. Studies in animals also showed cases of dehydration in infancy lead to storing large amounts of sodium in the body.

As a result of natural selection, these effects can be reduced because? Body has been able to contain sodium and water supplies are sufficient for dehydration. However, the situation is temporary, the detention of sodium in response to environmental conditions may decrease, which eventually causes high blood pressure.

To determine the relationship between climate conditions in infancy on blood pressure of adults, the researchers have been evaluating 3964 random volunteer in the UK who were born in the early 20th century. Based on these studies, the researchers concluded that those who suffered the season is very dry or very hot in the first year of growth will be more likely to get diarrhea and dehydration during the infant compared to those born in winter or rain.

In addition, the average high temperature in summer at the beginning of the growth associated with high systolic blood pressure when they are adults. The results indicate the importance to prevent dehydration in infancy not only for health moment, but very good for cardiovascular kesehatam for the long term.
